Early Career Beginnings (1979 - 1993)

Alden Porter III embarked on his professional journey with a commitment to service and excellence. In 1979, he began his career as a Yeoman Third Class in the U.S. Navy, where he provided vital administrative support within the naval command. This role honed his organizational and leadership skills, setting a strong foundation for his future endeavors.

After his military service, Alden transitioned to civilian life, taking on the role of a Word Processor at Manpower Services from 1983 to 1986. Based in Oakland, California, he was responsible for creating, editing, and formatting documents for legal professionals. This experience laid the groundwork for his meticulous attention to detail and technical proficiency.

In 1986, Alden took a significant step by establishing AGJ Productions, his own small business. As an Independent Personal Computer Consultant, he provided comprehensive IT support and solutions to small businesses and corporations. This role allowed him to develop his strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, further enhancing his business acumen.

Mastering IT and Leadership (1993 - 2018)

In November 1993, Alden joined National TechTeam as a Laptop Support Technical Specialist. Assigned as a contractor to Ford Motor Company, he provided technical support and training for laptop users, resolving hardware and software issues. This role marked the beginning of his long-term engagement with Ford.

Alden's journey at Ford Motor Company officially began in August 1994, where he served as an IT Business Analyst until September 2006. During this period, he organized and motivated teams to complete complex goals in product development and engineering IT. He designed synchronized engineering release processes between Ford and Mazda and conducted business analysis in product development, marketing, and sales.

In September 2006, Alden transitioned to the role of Global Product Owner and IT Business Relationship Manager at Ford, a position he held until July 2018. As a global leader, he directed IT infrastructure projects, including a four-year strategy for an automotive test track in China. He developed solutions to enhance IT security and controls at global prototype test sites and managed the development and deployment of IT solutions for global accounts payable and corporate finance. His tenure at Ford saw the successful implementation of comprehensive IT strategies, significantly contributing to the company's global success.

Transition to Financial and Business Coaching (2019 - Present)

In January 2019, leveraging his extensive corporate experience, Alden founded Alden Executive Advisors. His mission was clear: to transform professionals, entrepreneurs, and small business owners into experts in impacting small business revenue and profit growth. With a unique blend of corporate and small business experience, Alden successfully guided numerous small businesses to achieve significant profitability improvements through strategic planning and innovative business strategies.

As the Small Business Profit Architect at Alden Executive Advisors, Alden leads a dynamic team dedicated to unlocking the full potential of client businesses. He provides strategic coaching and business advisory services, develops customized business and marketing plans, conducts monthly accountability calls, and maintains program standards and frameworks to ensure client success.

In addition to his role at Alden Executive Advisors, Alden is also an Independent Financial Professional, licensed in eight states. He offers expert guidance in retirement and financial planning, specializing in annuities, Indexed Universal Life (IUL), final expense, long-term care options, and Social Security. Through his work, he educates clients on financial literacy and empowers them to take control of their financial futures.

Ongoing Mission and Vision

Today, Alden's mission at Alden Executive Advisors is to impact small business revenue and profit growth by helping clients with multiple options to achieve their financial goals. He also recruits and trains new coaches, primarily working with them in the evenings, which allows him to dedicate his days to furthering this mission.

Alden's extensive experience in business strategy and consulting, combined with his passion for coaching, makes him a valuable resource for business owners and coaches looking to grow and thrive.
